We both had Cod, chips and peas. It was wonderful. Crispy batter, lovely fish and the best chips. All served piping hot. Highly recommend.

Great food. Dog and kid friendly. Shame there couldn’t be a little more attention to detail when it comes to service. No additional sauces offered food put down and left.

After having a bad experience at another restaurant we came upon the black swan and thank god we did as a party of 4 and 3 spaniels we all had the steak and ale pie and it's safe to say its the best one I've ever had and the rest of my party agreed will definitely return and spread word about the meal and service we received here😋

After being turned away from a neighbouring restaurant on my husband’s birthday for having 3 dogs even though we had asked 2 days before and was assured it was ok we found The Black Swan. We were made very welcome and so were the dogs. We all had the Steak and Ale pie. All we can say is Fabulous! It’s the most tastiest pie we have ever had. The steak was so lean and tender and full. The staff are so friendly especially Aaron and couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely return.

Fantastic place for me this is was the best place we visited on our holiday for food and drinks excellent choice of drinks on the bar, we've travelled around from Torquay, Plymouth, Looe, polperro and Newquay before finding the black swan the quality lager was 5* best in the Looe area and the food omg the load fries are amazing and the burgers are amazing the our family enjoyed

Just eaten here tonight 7/4/2022. Absolutely fantastic, even let us bring our German shepherd dog in here no problem. Great friendly service from Alison and her team. Ordered food here which was amazing. The best we have had in Looe so far this week. Toilets very clean and well kept. Thank you so much. 😁

Popped in for dinner on the last night of our holiday, it was the perfect way to finish our trip. To begin with we were the only customers in there, more people arrived as we were eating.
A good range of food on the menu, we each went for a portion of loaded fries, they were delicious. Good portion size.
The music is right up our street too, luckily for the staff we didn’t start singing!!!!! (British indie/rock)
When we are next in Looe we will definitely be popping back in.
