Ihop

Got there around 9am and prepared for a wait. Instead we were seated immediately. Our server got our drinks, took our order and we received our food fairly quick. Our only complaint is that the food wasn't hot.. It was prepared adequately but I would have preferred to feel some heat when it was delivered to the table. All in all it was good.

Great service and good food. I tried there new lemon ricotta pancakes though, and was disappointed....only because I assumed that there would be actual lemon and actual ricotta in the pancake batter instead of a blueberry pancake with a wedge of lemon and whipped ricotta cream on top of the pancake... I had jumped to assumptions and didn't inquire further. So maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea if they changed their description of the pancake so other people would not make the same mistake as I did. But other than that, it was a good meal and their new iced coffee was good too!

My food was prepared perfectly. My wife ordered the Colorado omelet and the grated cheese on top was not melted. The guest across from us sent her omelet back for the same reason, she asked us if my wife had ordered the same thing with a disgusted look. Our wait time was only 13 minutes according to the host and he apologized for that. We thought that was very reasonable for how busy they were.

How can you not like IHOP. The service was absolutely great. The French toast was perfect and so were the eggs and hash browns. Most important was the service. Please tip well! Sometimes it is easy to undertip because of the low price of the meal. Our servers was absolutely wonderful and deserved every bit of what we left. Hope others will do the same.
