Fantastic vegan cafe with gourmet comfort food in a cozy inviting setting.
Their specials change regularly, and the food is fresh and delicious, with numerous healthy options that taste totally indulgent, despite being whole foods-based, gluten free, and made without refined cane sugar, or other nasties.
A must visit when in London.

Asia is super skilful at making vegan food exciting and so enjoyable. I loved what I ate.
I had a salad, and it was the best salad I’ve ever had. So many flavours, and so much detail in each of the toppings. The cake was sublime. Will definitely be returning as soon as I can.

I absolutely loved the service, the food, the staff, the vibe, the design. I would recommend to everyone to go and try anything there. Even if you go just for coffee. That's why I love small businesses like this one because they will provide the best service because they love that they do. It's passion. Stopped at this cute little cafe for a quick lunch and was really impressed. Delicious meals at great prices. I tried the butter bean hummus sandwich that came with a side salad - just £5. Was lovely, I will be coming back!

Delicious and cosy vegan restaurant in Hackney! Love the breakfast salad and gluten-free bread there, they also have a healthy and diverse dinner menu. Plus friendly owner :)

I really recommend this place, tidy and clean, beautiful interior, small but cozy. This is the kind of place to take a Latte Matcha (it can be a perfect combination with hummus with carrots, red peppers, cucumber or celery) or go with friends, family or even with a partner. Excellent staff, very polite, you will have a lot of fun and great chats if you talk to them. It is not expensive at all, excellent ingredients perfectly chosen to fill your belly before going out to party. My friend took the Mexican burger and I chose the falafel wrap and I can tell you is delicious.

Well this place is an absolute gem.
I had heard so many great things about this place, I couldn't wait to go down and try for myself.
I am not a vegan but I do like to try out different foods/ restaurants and this place did disappoint.
Is has a really relaxed feel to the place , everyone (staff and customers) all seemed super happy!
The menu had a great selection to choose from, so much my husband and I order quite a lot!
All the food came in great time, looked and smelled gorgeous.
But wow!!!!!! The flavours 😍 so so delicious I cannot wait to return. To be able to eat such healthy foods and them have so much flavour is an absolute treat! It won't be long before i return. The owner Asia has a great thing going on here! Get yourself down there, I can imagine this could easily be your new favourite place to eat! Thanks for the great experience

I love Smashing Kitchen! The food here is super yummy, healthy, nutritious and reasonably priced. The staff are lovely as is the restaurant with the best hanging plant collection I have seen. Highly recommended!
