For me, Firefly hits quite a few tick boxes. Great atmosphere and staff, fantastic selection of beers/ales, and delicious Thai food. Add to that the multiple screens for sports and you’re on to a winner! It’s a bar with food, not a restaurant - so if you’re not a fan of background music and atmosphere, it’s not the place for you. Would highly recommend.

A great little find. Close to Balham tube and rail. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good value (more important these days), great choice of beers and the thai food hits the spot and they have a few tvs for sport.

booked a table for dinner for 8 people. service was great and the food was very tasty. it was quite loud so it was tricky talking across the table - not sure if it's quieter on other nights. maybe bear in mind if you're going as a larger group.

We love this place, a very chill place serving Thai food. Friendly atmosphere with Tv screens showing the football. Wohld reccomend as a hangout or date night.

This place has some delicious and authentic Thai food. The person who I was with is born and raised in Thailand and can verify this... as I wouldn't have know any better! Great beer selection and chilled atmosphere too!

This is one of my favourite restaurant.
The food here is incredible! No 42 is my favourite seafood noodle dish. The red thai curries are a great choice as well.
The service sometimes isn’t good but the food makes up for it :)
I recommend prawn dumplings and duck spring rolls for starter.
I don’t drink beer, but they have a big selection of craft beer as well

Excellent cocktails and a great selection of draught beer. The music was jazzy and interesting so no complaints from me! The Thai menu looks quite attractive too - better than the usual pub menu. Highly recommended.

Fabulous service, wonderful drinks and such a good vibe to be able to watch the football and start our friends birthday evening off! The place had a nice buzz, and the food was moreish and rather clean! The prices are so brilliant especially if you're all looking to have a load of starters to share and mains.
