La Cascada

This place is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve ever been to. I was in hocking hills with my husband, and his brother and wife, and we were looking for somewhere to grab some lunch. We decided to try this place out and we were so glad we did!! Us ladies had a taco salad, mine was chicken and it was SO good. Had great flavor! My husband got the tacos and the presentation alone was fantastic. He said they were the best he’s ever had. Even the beans were SO good! My brother in law also loved his meal. And the margaritas…… YUM. The best of all, though, was the friendly staff!! 100% going back next time we’re in Hocking. Happy to support this business!

Food was fast to arrive, and reasonable flavor. Drinks, refills and even the check too way too long. Was a busy Friday night, so overall faster than nearby other restaurants that had hour waits but having to track down a waiter for the check after 10 minutes with a party of 6 taking a table shouldn't happen (we had already boxed up leftovers)

I used to really like La Cascada. My last couple visits were a little disappointing. I included a photo of my wife's Taco Salad. She jokingly asked if she accidently ordered from the children's menu. It was the smallest Taco Salad I've ever seen. If guess about 3 tablespoons of meat and a small handful of lettuce with a slice of tomato and onion ring. She actually laughed when she saw it. I got the Seafood Burrito which was a good size and very good. We also got a Taco Salad to go and a Molcajete which were very good although the salad was also small, but larger than the one my wife got. One more thing, there was a small sticker on one menu that said prices may be higher than shown. They were. Beware of mystery prices. Final word, the food and service were okay, just not that great. It's not hard to do really good Mexican food.
