Stayed here before catching the flight at Gatwick in the morning. Busy pub. Great food. Room is what u expect at £50 but it saved us getting up at 3am.

Love the Star in Lingfield. Nice selection of ales and beers. Great garden. Ideal if taking your children. The under cover section has an outdoor bar and grill area. Dog friendly aswell.

We crossed a county border for the Inquizition brand of quiz on a Thursday evening and were not disappointed! Great selection of food and drinks. It's on the expensive side - it's strange to charge the same for mocktails and cocktails but maybe that's Surrey prices. Shame that the waiter was obviously reluctant to check whether menu options met dietary requirements.

Lovely pub we stumbled across in Lingfield. Large covered outdoor area with bar service and decent sized beer garden. Kids playground stuff, to keep little ones entertained.
Quite popular, so I suggest booking if you're going for food. Speaking of which the food was very good (I had the Sunday roast beef). Good range of beers.
Only real negative, is the hand drier in the gents...just doesn't!!

Lively and very busy country pub with a great garden and outdoor cooking as well as the resturant. Staff are very friendly and helpful, food is very tasty and well cooked and presented. We stayed 2 nights as its perfect for the Edenbridge show. Rooms are clean and tidy reasonable price but as its near Gatwick our room 8 was noisy at night but didn't stop us sleeping. The TV in room 8 is not easy to watch as it's on a side wall.
