Captain D's

What I wanted was not listed on the menu, however they had it and made it for me. Cornmeal fried fish. Some places call it country or southern fried fish. What ever it is called it tasted very good, not greasy or doughy. The sides at Captain D's are always world class and delicious. I thought the price was a little high, but what should I expect for a special order.

A lot of fast food restaurants don't have low carb options, making it difficult for anyone watching their carbs to eat out. Captain D's has some awesome options though. I ordered the blackened tilapia with 2 shrimp skewers and green beans. The total carbs came to 14. The only down side is, I asked for them to leave the rice off and the fish still came on a bed of rice. I love rice and it was a temptation I didn't need, and it was frustrating because as soon as I finished the order, I got complete silence from their end. No price. No confirmation of what I had ordered. Next time I will be sure to ask them to repeat the order back to me.

I purchased a 3 piece fish dinner with a medium drink. The dinner was supposed to have French fries and Cole slaw. There were NO fries. Just an empty area where they should have been. I had to ask for my drink at the window as the lady neglected to give it to me. Very poor service with long wait time!
