The cruffins here are magnificent and are simply not to be missed. The staff are extremely helpful and the coffee is brewed to perfection. We had a great encounter the other week where we were allowed to try a pour over of some coffee beans before we bought them, which I haven't yet experienced at any other bean seller

My favourite coffee stop in Leeds.
The knowledgeable owner is always friendly and willing to chat about the fineries of a brew. Good breakfast options with rustic croissants, poachies on toast, Buddha Bowl, Bircher and Avo Smash on good bread and of course the very best coffee.

Episode One is an awesome little spot. The coffee is the best I've had in Leeds and I find it a really nice space to work at. Kyle, the owner is a great guy who's always friendly and accommodating - I highly recommend Episode One to all the coffee lover out there!

Fantastic local coffee shop – really great coffee (I had a split shot, an espresso and a piccolo and both were great) and fantastic service! Lovely atmosphere, good music, handy for the hospital, the university, and the city centre. And Irish-run, too! Would absolutely recommend it to friends!

Decided to stop for coffee here because Fettle was a bit crowded and it's just a few doors down the street. I was pleasantly surprised by the cool modern decor. The staff was very friendly and brought my food and coffee to the table. The coffee had a strong flavour and tasted pretty good, I'm looking forward to trying any guest coffee beans that come in. I had the Bircher Bowl which was a very pleasant breakfast for an affordable price. A good place for students to study with lots of seating. Would recommend, especially for breakfast :)

Coffee here is sooo good. They won't let a second class brew exist in the shop. Without prompting they sometimes throw a first attempt away. So I always get a brilliant coffee. The decaffeinated is really good too.
Discounts available and on Friday's it's 80s tunes. Special blends change quite frequently so regular visits recommended.

Kyle and Maeve are deeply passionate about sourcing the best single origin beans and excelling in brewing consistently great coffee with all its nuances. Definitely worth checking out if you're after a delectable cup of your favourite brew in a friendly atmosphere!

A nice addition to the Leeds coffee scene. Really good brewed coffee (we always go for the chemex which is the perfect size to share between two). The grilled cheese sandwiches are really good but I'd like a bit more choice on the menu. I hope this place does well and goes from strength to strength
