The Eatery On Cameron

We were very disappointed with the service today. I have visited this place several time before and the service was good and welcoming. Usually order was taken by girls who work their and they seems to be polite and smile on their face. But today we were 6 with 1 infant and one 2 yrs small baby girl. We had booked the table in advanced. So after we entered, table arrangement was done by the person I believe he is the owner of this restaurant. Looking to the number of person with 2 small baby he arranged 8 chair🪑, its a small common sense how can 10 month baby sits in a adult chair. And we had to ask him if they have high chair for the baby. He said he has 2, and if you are in hospitality business you should be aware or understand the circumstances and arrange high chair before we ask. How can someone arrange 8 chair for the baby to seat. Now we noticed every other customer came after us when they sat in their respective table, they were served water first. But no-one else bother to bring water bottle and glass to us entire time we were their then finally we had to ask for it jus few min before we left. And as order was taken by the owner himself, we made few request like we said well done bacon, so you can see in the pic if it really looks like well done. And wen we order drinks and said extra hot please for the coffee and the response we get is (we make all the coffee extra hot but by the time we bring, it will be little cool), seriously mate this is how u respond and deal with the customer or its jus with us coz we are not an Australian and some how u think we can be treated or answered in your own way. We all have a tremendous respect for the people here and love the country. We work equally hard and do try to enjoy family time like everyone else's but the treatment/service that we get in few places like this is not acceptable. If it was done by the some staff i could imagine may be he/she doesn’t have experience dealing with customer but owner himself comes up with such attitude with no smile on face & dealing like the way he did is not the right way in my perspective. Food is good everything seems to be fine until today. Just a request plz treat people like the way u wanted to be treated. Everyone in world deserve respect ✊.
