Checkers

Good & bad. I've always loved Checkers, but was so sorry to hear they had discontinued serving their apple pie. They were my favorite. McDonald's used to make them fried, but when they changed to baked, that crunch was gone, so when I found it at Checkers, I was delighted. If anyone knows where I can get one similar to that fried, crunchy, delicious pie, please let me know. Thx. I'm on FB.🙂 Update################## Now there are some Checkers selling the apple pie again!! Due to popular demand. The one on Babcock has them. I stopped to buy fries & I always mention how much I miss those pies & when the lady said they had them, I couldn’t believe it!! I bought 8, put 6 in the freezer. Thaw & place in a toaster oven & they’re like fresh. I’m gonna have one now!! Enjoy😉

Sat in line for 1 hour 10 mins on Christmas, since it was the only thing open 😐 That was fun. The drive thru menu is completely automated- you never talk to an actual human. That was a first for me. Can't hold Christmas against them, because stores are short-staffed and it was a holiday, but service is always slow here. Be prepared to wait a while.

Had a Great 👍 experience Last night 🌙 The nicest and best Female Manager ever at that Location. Keep up the good work 👏 👍.. For Tonight I can't say the same for this other Lazy Manager with a Rude Attitude. She's so lazy she don't even want to scan my rewards this is like the second time I had to deal with Her . All She wants to do Is just go outside and smoke cigarettes . Checkers really needs to fire Her.

Just ordered from here. Lady at the window was awesome, asked her to add a Pibb for me once I got to the window and she was still able to assist. Little bit of a wait for the food but no complaints cause I watched them make it fresh, this location has been around for a long time. Staff seems dedicated, attentive. Hopefully management makes some updates to the building so they can continue to be around for a while. Thanks for dinner.
