Beggars Pizza

Ive ordered on several occasions from this location. I ordered 5 pizzas for my birthday party. Came to pick them up and asked one of the 7 people behind the counter if they could help. Not one even attempted to help me walk out to the car, they were all "too busy" & "don't offer curbside assistance". So I took all 5 boxes, $158 worth of pizzas and carried them down the long hallway, and down the sidewalk to my car. As i grabbed the stack of boxes, i walked past a man who was also trying to figure out why he was charged extra for sauce. The customer service is gone. The pizzas were Just OK. I will never buy anything from here again. I will be going to Aurelios in South Holland, or the Beggars in Harvey from now on.

I haven’t ordered from beggars in while. I took a chance tonight and got really hot lol pizza and my cheese sliding to the side. The driver must’ve been hitting the corners hard 🤣. I’m disappointed but I’m not going even waste my energy calling the restaurant. However the call taker was very pleasant.

Great pizza as always. But you think your order is done but you may still have to wait. And honestly, I'm okay with getting it right away. I think they put it back into an over to put the temperature on Hell, because the pizza is ALWAYS so hot that I have to wait another 25 mins just to eat it. People are always nice inside and have great customer service.

We've been fans of Beggars for years. I'm not sure how I feel about their new express dine in experience. At the take out counter you place your order for everything you think you'll want/ need. Drinks are either a 2L or 20oz bottled beverage, you seat yourself and your order is brought out with plates and empty cups. An employee will occasionally check on you. I understand that they've likely had to adapt like many other businesses due to covid however after 2 years of not dining in this experience just didn't do it for me sadly. On a positive note though I had the best seasoned turkey burger of my life that night. I didn't expect that of a pizza place. I can't eat pizza sauce but the turkey burger was a satisfying substitution.

This place is so incompetent. What does this receipt show? Pizza type. Uber name and code. Last initial. First Name. Ordered at 746p. Said 20 min. Got there can't find my pizza! Said no uber. Said another 17 min. Then said I had a deep dish. Then said they had a pizza for someone with my SAME LAST NAME when my last name is clearly not printed. Lied and stalled while we waited an hour for a pizza that should've been ready in 20 min. Never again.

I picked up my pizza. Went straight home and it was flat on the front sear of my car. I opened the box and all of the topping was in the corner of the box. The crust was cold and I picked it up the 35 minutes. When I called no one wanted to accept that it happened at the restaurant, basically calling me a liar, including the manager Jessica. Options were to have a new pizza made and bring the old pizza back or wait hour and a half for delivery. Happy Mother’s Day. No helpful accommodations from them. To think I wanted to bring their pizza to our family brunch 😡

I really want to give a higher rating as I loved going here growing up and always had great experiences but I just got done eating here as we wanted to dine in for Father's day. Their dine in experience which has always been the best part of this location is terrible now. You seat yourself order your food and pay at the counter and they ask for tip before you've even experienced any customer service and no one came to check on us outside of food being brought to us. Had to go up and get our own takeout box for leftovers and instead of fountain drinks you had to buy 2liters. And had them on the table. Don't get me wrong I'm not necessarily complaining about having to do those things but it really hurt the experience. We probably won't be back for awhile.

OMG talk about amazing pizza. Beggar's pizza is so good. Every pizza is so good anything that you've chosen to have on your pizza is on it and then some. Beggar's is a place you'd take someone who's never tasted a Chicago pizza,you will rock their world. Honestly, one of the best places to get one damn good pizza. Two slices is my limit that's because they definitely don't scimp on whatever choices of meat, seafood veggies whatever you choose you get and then some. Beggar's is definitely the place in the south burbs or NW Indiana to take a friend or family member to let them taste the real reason why Chicago's known for it's AMAZING pizza. Highly recommend even for pizza night for the family or even yourself. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED AT ALL. GRAB YOURSELF OR THE FAMILY ONE PUT A GOOD MOVIE ON AND ENJOY !!!!! IF THE MOVIE ISN'T ANY GOOD THE PIZZA WILL MAKE UP FOR IT. ENJOY 😁🍕🍕🍕🍕😃
