I love this place, if you don't check it out....you totally messed up.

I grew up in Lansing, but live in Europe now. Whenever I come home I make sure I stop by if it's open. It's a nostalgic trip each time, I love the tacos, green quesadilla and taco sauce. It doesn't get much better, and while it's a bit pricey, I can't complain about the food at all. The drive-thru moves at a reasonable clip, and is always full when the restaurant is open. Stop by whenever you have the chance, you won't regret it.

We drove by and saw they happened to be open for the first time in a while. We waited in the drive thru for an hour. Food was good but honestly I wouldn’t wait that long for it again.

I would have given a 5 star but because they aren't open everyday I gave a 4 star. We love their food. Although, sometimes the rice can be a little salty.
My husband has said that the owner is too much of a micro manager. When he goes in to pick up our food the owner is always on the employees about how to do their job (you gotta do this or you gotta do that). Some of the employees he has seen in their for sometime now.

I love the food enough to overlook the lack of hours and sometimes running out of food. I hope they continue to get it together and can get back to the level of quality and service they had years ago. It's so good!!! Love the combination plates, bean burritos, the tortilla shells and my favorite is the Cherry Burro. Sad they were out last time but the Apple was good too!

Today I ordered a green enchilada with rice side, an all red meat wet burrito and a side of guacamole. Excellent!! (Actually saving the burrito for tomorrow but I tasted it!) Love being able to pop in when I'm in the area. Appreciate the hustle behind the counter. Genuinely love the food. Didn't indulge in a burro but I sure thought about it. Place was full of dining in people, and several of us take outers in line. Was a great idea to stop in!

Delicious! Just like I remembered! We live in NC now, but grew up in the 80s near Lansing. Our son has been watching the reopening on Facebook, and we finally were able to take him today. He loved it, just wish we could have bought him a t-shirt.

I have been through the Drive-Thru service back in late April early May was served very quickly. Today I had the inside service. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Food was as ordered. It was a wonderful site to see Bill greet the customers as friends. Keep up the great work Bill and crew. Thanks again for bring back Mr. Taco. The food is delicious!!!

Despite the spuratic hours and the random dine-in only, drive-through only days, it's awesome. Walked in and out in 10 minutes.
Bill was there to oversee the 100% accuracy of my order.
For the first time in 10 years, I am enjoying Mr. Taco again!!! Great local food!
