This place is closed now but it was Classy. Atmosphere like no other. It is replaced by Tavern & Tap. Same owners. Can't tell you about this new place but if it's same owners I don't expect any less class.
I'll rate soon as we plan to go back soon. This time for Tavern & Tap.

We just dropped in for a quick beverage between meetings. Bartender was very efficient and accommodating. Appreciated her fast service for our short window of time. Would definitely back when I had more time

First class service, friendly staff, great drinks, good food; combined this is a recipe for continued success. I was here for a gathering that was hosted upstairs. Yes, there is even an elevator! Truly a great experience all the way around. Definitely recommend this place for either a cozy cocktail or maybe a corporate event. The layout is perfect!

The waitress was very attentive and the staff was on top of our menu. We didn't drink, but I would recommend this place for only food as well. This place seats 4 comfortable and can easily seat more. It is a modern sports bar for your modern food needs.

Great little spot to visit when in Downtown Lansing. Food is amazing, staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Not the cheapest place, but if you wander in here, that is not your goal.

Troppo is a classy upscale restaurant with not only an excellent selection of food but fresh and flavorfull, that will surwly bring you back again and again. We choose Troppo for our anniversary dinner and were surprised to have been offered a complementary appetizer and dessert. We were greater by a manager as we entered who also checked in on us mid meal.
They offer seating available both inside and out. This establishment would be ideal for both large and small parties. They do have a few televisions that seemed out of place for a restaurant of this caliber. For that reason alone I remove one star. Overall it was excellent and we will return.

The food was cooked to perfection. I never knew asparagus could be prepared so perfectly, it melted in my mouth. Service and drinks were wonderful. We also had a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. A memorable experience.

I’ve never felt more welcome in a restaurant. Multiple members of their staff and even the chef checked on us! The Michigan Avenue Martini mix was incredible the fruit is soaked in and piled on. I highly recommend the meatballs as an appetizer the flavor and tender care with which this recipe was created was an ultimate treat! My experience here was unforgettable and I cannot wait to return!

Actually a surprisingly good spot for vegan food. They're more than willing to sub out cheese/meat on the pizzas for veggies instead. Just make sure to ask for no butter on the crust! I got the Fungi with tomatoes instead of cheese and it was delicious. Affordable and filling.
The fries are also delicious and the portion is huge!

We had a great experience at this restaurant. From the time I called to make the reservation to when we arrived and had our meal. We thought the food and drinks were very good. The staff was very friendly and our server was very attentive. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

Delicious. We had a party of 15. Slow on delivery of main course meal but good appetizer salad and salmon. Some of the steaks were more rare than desired. Good waiter.
Ambiance was wonderful and to top it off the Capitol and Christmas tree lights right up the road was spectacular.
