Zoup!

If you ever crave soup with whatever kind of diet you have I almost guarantee they have something. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, meat eatter. They also have delicious sandwiches, salads and now grain and broth bowls, I have yet to leave disappointed. The strawberry tea today was delicious.

Went to Park City Mall on Saturday from Maryland to look for walking shoes after a Greek grocery visit to Mandros Imported Foods at Charlotte and Lemon Streets. Parking is hard to find in the city to eat somewhere which is tough for that reason, so we headed straight to the mall. They have a food court and the same boring chain restaurants as any other mall or highway location. Then my girlfriend mentioned Zoup. I wasn't excited about it because I would have enjoyed a mom and pop eatery to support, but I was tired of the thought of driving somewhere else. We walked into Zoup with our two grandkids and they found a table, I took their order and was pleasantly greeted with hospitality. The cashier made ordering easy. The menu board was inviting. I didn't know about soup samples and did forget to ask for the Pumpkin Pie Bisque which sounded good. Our chicken Caesar salad was perfect and healthy, my Chicken Toscana, was amazing, kids classic mac n cheese, creamy and the tuna sandwich, awesome. My girlfriend didn't want the Pure Leaf unsweetened ice tea and they didn't have the sweet, but she loved the pomegranate fountain drink and I enjoyed the vanilla cream soda. The restaurant was very clean, everyone wore their masks, no complaints. We never found shoes, but found a great place to eat.
