Mr. Shrimp

I am so impressed with all the upgrades every time I visit. I always go as a treat and I was pleasantly surprised yet again for lunch yesterday. The service and food were on point. The server even gave a couple of us sample drinks. I got the fresh mint & lemonade. My shrimp and jasmine rice with garlic herb sauce was amazing. They actually deserve a bigger location but I still love this place! 4.5⭐️

Amazing experience and delicious food! Veronica and Weston were nothing short of superb! Don’t let the small store front fool you, there are places to sit and enjoy your meal inside the restaurant. Clean establishment, well run kitchen with great communication and phenomenal food served with a smile! Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed going to Mr. Shrimp but I will no longer be going there. I tried to place an order online as I always do. For some reason it was not working or going through. I called to place an order on the phone and they said I would need to place online or come inside their spot and order. When I arrived I placed my order. I ordered the family boil, as I have always ordered for the past two years. When I went to get my food I see they are missing the rice. The employee says let me check. He then says yes we missed it. Sorry. Then I notice there are not as many crab clusters as there should be. The employee says that the website menu is wrong and the family boil only comes with 4 clusters. I ordered an extra 3 so there should have been a total of 7. I received 6 clusters. I then get home and open the whole container and realize I was missing the 1 lbs of mussels. The corn is cut in half’s. Skinny half’s. The potatoes look bad and are cut into small pieces. The employee said I could drive back and I said no because I’m 30 minutes away. He told me he could leave my number for the manager when they return. Horrible customer service. Will not be giving me business to this place again!

The taste of New Orleans right here in Palm Springs, FL! I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while so today was my day. Upon entering I went straight to the back to check out the bathroom and found it reasonably clean and well stocked. Back at the front counter I was greeted by Veronica who has a big bright welcoming smile. When she found out it was my first visit, she seized the opportunity to explain the menu which she thoroughly knew. After hearing my options I went with the Shrimp Bayou Bowl, their homemade lemon aid, and an order of beignets. The food is all fresh to order and was up in about 10 minutes. Presentation was incredible and everything looked and tasted fresh. The bayou bowl is a little spicy so if you don’t like spicy try their Palm Beach bowl. The beignets as brought back sweet childhood memories of Cafe Du Monde in the French Quarter of New Orleans, LA.

Trash and Weston is rude. No customer service here. Tried charging me for more food instead of fixing the other. He was too busy placing blame on the customer. No one had name tags on, hair nets, or hair pulled back either. Cashier didn't listen to what I wanted in the bowl, instead she promoted the Cajun Thai bowl. When that wasn't what I wanted and she saw that I was hesitant to order it... but that's what she recommended so I went with it.

This past week I ate at Mr. Shrimp for the first time in 6 years and believe when I say the food has only gotten better. That’s a compliment because the food was excellent back then and still is. I ordered a shrimp and crab boil as well as added a few additional items a la carte to round it out. You get so much control over the flavor and seafood options you can’t possibly not find something you will love. We had this amazing boil delivered to us. Let me tell you, the take out packaging and care they put into making sure the food gets to you, has to be the best boil packaging i’ve seen. It was wrapped in a bubble bag and packaged in an airtight, resealable, microwaveable, plastic container. This mad it easy to eat, stay clean, and reheat later. I’ll be coming back!!

They don't provide any tools to help open the crab legs! The hushpuppies, fries, and crab are all excellent. I tried their shrimp too, but I wasn't as impressed. There's not a lot of space to eat inside, however it is enough to get the job done. Overall, my visit was a positive experience; I would happily return for more.
