I love going to this restaurant every year for my anniversary. It has just the perfect atmosphere for a date night - candles and low lights. It never fails to have the best tasting foods. It truly has the 'made from scratch' taste and the portions are very generous. I always try to get dessert but by the time I finish my meal I am always full. Luckily I can always get it to go.

Overall, not bad. The atmosphere is very nice and the service was outstanding. We arrived about 8:15. It felt like they were pushing everyone to hurry so they could close at 9:30. They didn't say to hurry, but it was obvious they wanted everyone out by 9:30. My advice, if you want everyone gone by a certain time, stop seating earlier. Now the food. Since we are looking for a new "go to" in this area, we went with the basics, spaghetti and lasagna. They started with a load of bread and dip, then salad and then entrees. The spaghetti came with two good size meatballs and a small piece of Italian sausage. No meat in the sauce. The sauce was great. The lasagna was very good. It could have used a little more ricotta, but still very good. I'm sure we will come here again to try some of their other dishes.

Isn't it great when you find a lovely place when you take a chance? My Google maps said I'd enjoy it, so I gave it a shot. Very well done phone. Place is small. It's a bit dark, but that's fine because the food was awesome. Caesar salad wasn't pre-made bleh. Actually good tasty dressing and fantastic croutons. The entree was 'PAPAGALO: "TULLA'S FAVORITE"'. I was skeptical a bit. However, I love spicy sauces. The chicken and jalapeños were magical. Phenomenal dish. A bit too much for lunch, but I stuffed myself as I enjoyed it. The tiramasu wasn't just sugar coffee. Nah, lovely cream and a balance of bitter and sweet. Just wonderful. Two thumbs up. Will eat there again. Thank you all very much. (As a former cook for many years, I happened to sit near the kitchen during a lunch rush. Very well run. Good job.)

Stopped in this evening while looking for a place to have dinner while on a service call in Lagrange. Our first visit was by no means disappointing. Every item was prepared to perfection. The portions were quite generous. Our waitress, Amanda, was super attentive. A word of advice: despite the fact the entree servings are generous, once you taste the homemade cheesecake you'll always find room to partake of it. I'd give the place six or more stars if that were an option on Google's reviews. We'll definitely be dining there again.

The restaurant is dimly lit. Perhaps for the romantic atmosphere, but the crowded table spacing removes that aspect of the restaurant. We ordered shortly after being seated. I ordered the Chicken Tortellini Carbonara and my wife ordered the Cheese Manicotti with Shrimp and Scallops. We received refills on our drinks quickly. The food took a while to come out, but they were extremely busy, especially for a Tuesday night. All of the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this location.

Prices were double what the menu said. Looking at other reviews, this scam has been going on for a long time. They Added a $10 credit card service charge to my bill. This is part of owning a business, not a customers responsibility. Maybe I should pay to use your toilet paper and hand soap too. Gratuity was added, but server never said anything. Restaurant is too dark to read fine print. Thank goodness my friend said something, because I was leaving her an extra $50... no communication. Food was ok. Thats why I didn’t leave a 1 star.
