If you want to party Wednesday (college night) and Saturday (karaoke Night, also Wednesday) are the nights to go. Friday nights are live music and can be fun. Other than those nights it's just a chill bar to hang out with friends, play pool and shuffleboard and other games. Still, those first 2 nights I mentioned make this place 5 stars alone.

"PTKtheBand" had a great time as always at The Roundup Saloon in downtown Lafayette! The crowd packed the dance floor all night. And, the "cool" staff is really friendly. Thanks again Karen for the booking!

It’s a classic dive bar for the Lamorinda area. Nothin can top it if you’re just looking for a beer, some pool, friendly (and most likely buzzed) people both young and old. They have karaoke certain nights and live music others. The new fenced in back area that was a result of all the new regulations is actually a great use of space and one of my favorite parts about it now when the weather’s nice.

Charlie and Crew are Super Awesome....Super Chill Place...They always remember your name....and pour you the drink you always order before you sit down...Dunno how they remember...but they do....

What’s going in the men’s bathroom? It is a disgusting smell coming out of there that goes around that area. I couldn’t drink my beer. There is nice blonde bartender being tortured by the smell. Why don’t they buy a ceiling fan for the b/r? Stay away from this bar. It is disgusting!

Not a bad neighborhood bar, but seems a little out of place on this main street. Patrons are local, staff friendliness is sparse, not blatantly rude but not welcoming either.

We always have fun at the roundup when we stop by for a drink or karaoke or pool and shuffleboard. This clamper bar has been around since longer before I turned 21 and they're a great part of downtown Lafayette. Between service at the bar and several tables, there's plenty of indoor seating, and their new-ish patio out back is great also and has a variety of tables and styles of chairs. Staff is wonderful and it's a positive and fun crowd most nights and afternoons.
