Villa De Flora

Beat my expectations. I’m a foodie and pretty selective. Came for din on Sat night during holidays so there was an hour wait but they text you when ready and you can hang out in the awesome hotel. I got the text 45 min later. Selection was vast and nicely done. Very artisanal. Meats were chx, fish, osso buco, prime rib, and more. Waiter was Ryan and he was so pleasant and on top of his game. Really good service. Will be back!

Service was great. We had a gentleman as our server. I wish I remembered his name so I could mention it here. He was attentive and very nice. The food at this restaurant is delicious. All their bread is made in house. They have a large selection of salads and hot dishes as well as soup, a carving station and made to order pasta station. There is also a large selection of desserts. Everything I tasted was so yummy! We will be back.

We were there last weekend & we weren’t sure what to expect, and Boy ! We were delighted by the taste of the food ! Everything tasted so Great ! There’s a Pasta Chef making your personal pasta from Scratch! Right in front of you!, the Dessert table looked Amazing and Tasted even better! Outstanding service! Our server, Cathy was so kind, attentive and went out of her way to make our evening so special! We are getting married at the Gaylord in April and decided to pop in to revisit the venue (locals). She had an inclination that we were visiting for a special reason and reaffirmed our decision to have our wedding at the Gaylord. I am still smiling at the thought of our dinner. She was funny, helpful and really is just a great person. Thanks again Cathy, we will be back to see you soon! In addition, the food was incredible! The lamb was so perfectly cooked and I loved both types of salmon as well. The salads offered were also great. I loved the little peppers with cream cheese in them and hope to have them again soon. I really like hummus but last night was the best I have ever had. I could go on and on but all of the food was amazing. Lastly, I just wanted to thank all of the staff. From the hostess, servers and chefs. We thank you for an amazing evening.

The buffet at Villa de Flora serves breakfast and dinner at the Gaylord Palms Redort. The price per person is what you'd expect to pay at an a la cart restaurant outside the hotel in Orlando, but for an all you can eat buffet, with non alcoholic drinks and dessert included, the price can't be beat. We were there for a conference so there was no need to go outside the property. The service was impeccable, the layout of the buffet was inviting, and the cuisine was really tasty. I'd go back to the resort for a vacation the next time.
