A lovely Indian restaurant in a smal town. The staff are pleasant and welcoming. I was ordering for 2 people. My favourite item on hem order was King prawn butterfly (order a madras sauce on the sode to dip). It was really succulent and not dry. The chicken tikka massala got a 9/10 from my friend.

Upon entry of 'The Mango Tree', we were welcomed by a waiter who took us to our table .
Ate some food....was very nice.
Paid bill.... was reasonably priced.

Open till late when most other dining- in places in Kirkby Stephen were closing, the Mango Tree was a very good experience. Service was pleasant, food was tasty and everything was clean and spotless.
We had the Chicken Biryani, Keema Bhuna and Tandoori roti, all of which were very good.
Recommended.
