I usually won't eat battered fish because it's never done well, but this fish was perfect. The fish was moist and the batter was light, crisp and not dripping with oil.
Staff were very friendly. Even our dog was welcome! (Outside seating only, of course)

Waiters laugh at you when they take 1.5 hours to get breakfast to you. About to walk out after 1 hour, they said the food would be 10 minutes, went back after that, they said 10 minutes. We said you said that last time can you please make sure. Got to half past the hour, and we went to leave and they finally started bringing the food out and refused to give us a discount saying they were the only ones open on a public holiday. I have been to many many places, several in Hobart in my time, and never have I received such appalling customer service. Cafes in Salamanca are bursting at the seams and they don't take as long. Never will I be going back here. My whole family have boycotted the place and I have told people about being laughed at on complaining.

Terrible customer service. We were the only people waiting to be served and staff persisted to ignore us for 10 minutes. When our orders came out, two of the four were wrong. Saddening really, for such a lovely location.
