This is my favorite Bakery EVER! Everything is made from scratch! The brown butter pear and marscapone pastry is phenomenal as is the cheese danish, pecan cinnamon bun and everything they make!! They also have fresh baked breads, donuts and a grill that makes breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Delicious!!

Such a great bakery! We stayed nearby for a week and came by three times for donuts and other pastries. They were all amazing, especially the donuts were sooo good. The last time we came by got two breakfast sandwiches and they were just incredible. I think my favorite breakfast sandwich of all time. It's sad we don't live nearby but also probably good since I would probably end up going every day.

Great lunch today here! Had the special—Cuban sandwich and fries—both were excellent. Also tried a cheese danish, also delightful! Outdoor seating, great food, friendly service. Enjoy!

Hands down amazing. Delish pastries and welcoming staff! Definitely a must stop if you’re here for vacation and craving a good cup of coffee with a tasty pastry. 😉 might have even frozen some to take back to Richmond Va.

We ordered some donuts, cappuccino, and a Cuban sandwich with French fries. The customer service, cappuccino, and donuts were great! The sandwich and fries were fresh, warm, and delicious. We will definitely be returning!

I recently visited Proof Bakery, and I was absolutely in love with their unique spin-off of Breaking Bad merchandise. It added a fun and quirky touch to the bakery.
Now let’s talk about the pastries - the chocolate croissant was simply outstanding! It was one of the best pastries I’ve ever had. My wife’s cheese danish was equally delightful and truly a treat.
The coffees we ordered were also really good, complementing the pastries perfectly.
The only minor comment we had was that the service interaction felt a bit awkward. The staff didn’t seem overly friendly or welcoming. However, this didn’t overshadow the overall experience and the phenomenal decor of the bakery.
If you’re looking for amazing pastries and a unique ambiance, Proof Bakery is definitely worth a visit.

Incredible! Wonderful! Amazing! Delicious! Wow!!! My husband and I stopped here on a whim after we rode our bikes from Kitty Hawk down the Multi-Use path and visited the Wright Brothers Memorial. We were hot, hungry and exhausted and looking for something to give us some energy to get back home. Best sandwiches we’ve EVER had, and they were made to order! Took about 10 mins to get them but sooooo worth it. I got the spicy and sweet schnitzel sandwich and my husband got the Caribbean jerk sandwich and we shared both. We also got fries and a honey bun for dessert. We took them down to the closest public beach access and ate them on the beach and it was such an incredible experience. This place is legit. Go here if you like food :)

Holy Schnitzel!!!
The chicken schnitzel sandwich I just devoured has to be one of best breakfast sandwiches of my life. We only got one sandwich to share between the two of is. Big mistake! Juicy chicken, tasty bun and a fried egg cooked to perfection. It's hard to imagine me not buying this every morning while I'm here.

I am blown away by the quality of their products. The croissants were flaky and buttery, while the breads were fresh and hearty. The staff were friendly and helpful, taking the time to make recommendations based on my preferences. I would highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for a top-notch pastry or bread experience. Truly a hidden gem.
