Merit Grill

Visit date: 10/14/2017. We did not have a reservation and felt like our table service may have been lacking due to no resveration. We had to beg to get our check. Caesar salad was very bland and maybe two croutons. I had a burger this visit. The burger was good but not worth what I paid for it. Prices seem high here for the food that is offered.

Really delicious food and a menu that helps anyone find something to fit their taste. Salads, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, seafood, pizza, and quesadillas. Pretty sure that if you want something, they can make it. Haven't had anything I don't like. The only reason I'll dock them a star is that the service always seems just a little slow during lunch hours, when I'm on the clock to get back. They take my order quickly enough, but getting food seems maybe 5-10 minutes too long.

Service: Amazing Good: Amazing Drinks: Amazing Everything else: Amazing This restaurant is one of the best in the area. When you walk in, you are welcomed like family on Sunday afternoon. When you sit, you sit like royalty, and served as such too. The food by the way, is supreme. I couldn't believe we have such incredible food right here in this part of Ohio. My suggestions: Ask for Cristian, he's amazing. (Along with Oscar and his brother who is the chef) The fries are cooked to perfection, trust me and try it for yourself. If you're a salad person, don't worry, they got that too. Steak is a must, and the seafood is fresh. And for dessert, the bread pudding. That will give you the perfect night out at Merit Grill.

The food is really good. Cabbage Rolls & Chicken Pot Pie,Chicken Pasta Soup are yummy. Breakfast is good too. So many great things there!! Very nice servings too. We are so full when we leave we never get dessert but this one time we did. We won't do that again. Carrot cake was dry & the Cherry Cheesecake was that. A piece of Cheesecake with 6 maraschino cherries.

Recently remodeled to the better. Big change in menu as no longer family style and more of a supper club atmosphere. Food was good, service slow. Don't plan on a quick lunch here. For sandwich and salad we were in resturant over an hour. Would be understandable if place was full, but there were five patrons at three tables. A week and a half ago we tried the dinner menu. Good food, long wait and with seven patrons at three tables again. Will try the breakfast in future, but there must be a reason the once busy resturant and full parking lot is no more.

Four of us went for dinner. We were seated immediately and the service was good. I ordered the Chicken Parm at the waiters suggestion. It was fair but I would not order again. The chicken was highly breaded and appeared to be deep fried, crispy and dry. The spaghetti sauce was very bland and sparse. However, the others were very pleased with their food selections so I would go back again and give it another try.
