The Farmer's Table

It was great. Every stand had home grown produce and fruits. Remington Lott Farmers had a stand as well with their local raised beef. The cows are born and raised on the farm and processed at Attala Processing in Kosciusko Ms. I got fresh corn, tomatoes grown in Crystal Springs, MS, cherry tomatoes, red onions and a Smith County watermelon.

Such a wide variety of homemade goods from local art to kimchi. There's a small restaurant inside that several people seemed to enjoy immensely. Everyone I spoke with, buying or not, brought out our state's southern hospitality- felt like I was shopping at home without the Wi-Fi. I bought bacon, sourdough, zuccini, squash, tomatoes, figs, plums and peaches. This cost me around $50. This was worth every penny for the quality and amount I received. Personally, I give 5 stars just for Ellis Farms having figs. Please get out of bed one morning and support local artists and farmers from all over Ms. Because you can't buy figs at Kroger. And you can't buy homemade crochet at any toy store. I recommend having an extra pair of hands as there are no baskets or carts. If I had an extra hand I would have added watermelon to the list! There are no photos but the memories in my experience. They wouldn't capture the smells of fresh produce, happy chatter, and not near as much as what I saw today. Can't wait to go again 😊 (I went to pay for a $5 loaf of sourdough and found I only had $4- the man said he'd take what I had but I pulled out another $20. I was only there an hour and have several more small stories of genuine kindness).
