El Comal Restaurant

This restaurant is very hot. I think the a/c is off. Food is not good. I order menudo and it had no favor. It was warm not even hot. Sister-in-law order chilaquiles she mention is was horrible taste. They get very busy and the don’t have enough staff to attend the customer’s. Plus food is very expensive!!! I don’t mine paying but come on it has to have a good taste! Don’t waste your time coming here !!!

I had to give it 1 star because I can’t leave 0 stars. The lady didn’t even write down our order . She came back with a Chile relleno de carne when I had asked for cheese. When I return it she came back with the correct order but it was raw. The breading was not cooked all the way the salad was old and hot. I drove from Garland to this restaurant since last time they did a good job on the food . Drove 40 mins to get raw food a horrible tasting michelada with more ice than beer - usually micheledas are serve with a beer bottle I didn’t get that. The waitress told me that she could do not do anything about since the owner was not there. I get it you need my money since Monday evenings are slow and there was only 3 customers.

Nice authentic Mexican food with an extensive menu. The seafood in the cocktail had a funny taste and was not fresh tasting at all. The chile relleno was ok, definitely had better. Had to ask the server for a 2nd Corona as they were not very attentive. They have daily lunch specials which was nice.
