One of the last family owned and run pizza places in highly corporate Irvine. Ray has been serving pizza here for longer than I can remember.
If you like New York style pizza, there is nothing better for miles around, the staff is friendly, and food is great, and reasonably priced.
Ray still works the counter, so say hi to him if you see him

Old timeie New York style pizzeria, they have arcade games and everything. They have fantastic pizzas. I think one of my favorite is the eggplant pizza. Everything is really great. It's family owned everyone's really nice by far the best pizza in Orange county.

It's a quaint pizza place that has a lovely atmosphere, the man who was at the front was really kind. Service is quick. The sauce is really good- I'd recommend getting a pizza with minimal toppings to be able to truly enjoy the richness of the sauce. Perfectly crispy crust as well!

Ray's Pizza is a wonderful restaurant. The owner, Mr. Ray is quite a host and always has a great smile on his face. The pizza is New York style and is very delicious.
The UCI students love going to Ray's and he recognizes every customer. My son frequents Ray's more than once a week, as do so many other students.
We love his pizza! It's the best pizza in the USA!

Called in for a pizza (delicious, by the way). Was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I got there in 10 minutes and it was ready. Ray is always happy to see you, whether it's your first time there or your 101st. Park by Mendocino Farms...it's less crowded than the Trader Joe's side of the parking lot.

Convenient location, great atmosphere, and fast service. Arcade machine inside and sports to watch as well. My boyfriend and I always come and order an extra large pizza because it’s so good! Ray is a ray of sunshine lol and is super sweet.

Simple but good! There's a nice quality to the crust and the 2 slice and a drink combo is great. The combo price has gone up a dollar but it's still a good deal, especially considering the price of the surrounding restaurants. The owner is very nice as well.

Very kind employees, welcoming environment, fresh and tasty pizza. Highly recommend the 2 pizzas and a drink for $7.95.

Ray’s was awesome, what a pleasant surprise! My husband and I went here while waiting for my hair appointment. My husband was getting hungry so we stopped in to get a quick bite. We just split the special(2 slices and drink for about $8) and oh my was it good! The pizza here is top notch. The crust was perfect a bit of crunch, fresh and great flavor. The cheese and toppings were cooked perfectly. We will definitely be coming back and we’ll order much more next time. I believe it was the owner we met(Ray?), he was very nice and friendly. Ray’s is our new favorite pizza💞
