La Sirena Grill - Irvine

Two decently sized bag of chips, a burrito PACKED with guacamole that I didn’t need to pay extra for, and some absolutely delicious spicy salsa! I must have died and gone to burrito heaven! This place is an instant favorite for me as the price isn’t ridiculous, the food is amazing, and general atmosphere of the place is great. I didn’t interact with the staff that much as I had takeout, but I bet they’re awesome too.

We found this place online, as most of us do, while visiting San Juan Capistrano. It is 30 minutes from where we were, but on our way back to Irvine Spectrum. So, we picked it iver all the other places along the way. I ordered the chicken burrito. Me wife had the chicken enchiladas. With Covid-19 new world, our foid was packed to go, even though we were to eat it right outside. Waiter drops our bagged food and leaves. Well, that was not our order. I take it back inside, and our waiter, knowing already he had brought us the wrong order, was already packing up the right one for me. No harm, no foul. With the wrong order still in hand, snd they couldn't, and wouldn't, take it back, we ended up with double the food. So, we drove down to Laguna Beach and shared our 'misfortune' with some homeless/less fortunate people who were so grateful and super excited for a great meal coming their way. Their joy filled our hearts, and brought us some much joy, aking with a couple of tears. Anyway, La Sirena Grill serves some of the best Mexican food on the SoCal coast. Being from Texas, we know a thing or two about good Mexican food, and we're picky eaters.

Just as amazing as the Laguna locations! It’s not the beach, but it makes you feel like you’re there. Amazing food, and salsas. Fresh, high quality, and simple Mexican food not your neighborhood Alberto’s . Great food! Dogs can sit outside on the patio so it’s fun for the whole family. Highly recommended.
