Very nice shop in the heart of the community the awards on the wall speak for themselves but the food is lovely the pensioners meal is a brilliant deal the staff are friendly (especially jess) always smilling

Best chip shop I’ve ever been too food is cooked fresh every time staff go far and beyond for there customers to the point one of the lady’s went out of her way to drop off my wallet to my house after I left it in the shop so friendly when ordering food 👍😀😀

We often come here for our lunch, Ozzie is always so friendly and always asks about your day when you come in and will chit chat with you too. But food is always amazing! Fish and chips are a staple favorite of course with their curry sauce. The fishburger and the codfella burger were delicious too. Definitely recommend.

I have been coming here for years for mine and my grandparent's fish and chips every week! The portion sizes are great. its great value for money. We don't go anywhere else. Can't fault it! It's not just about the fish and chips... The staff are amazing too. I look forward to coming in every week to chat to all the friendly staff! Even when there really busy they still take time to talk to you as much as they can. They make you feel very welcoming! They know me by name and its just the little touches oz and his team have.
BEST FISH AND CHIPS ABOUT WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!

I've been visiting CodFellas weekly for a number of years and can honestly say I've never had a bad meal or bad service. The staff are always very friendly and helpful even when they are very busy.They know most of there regulars by name. Oz has got a great team in Josh and Hayden and the lovely ladies whose names escape me. Thank you for making my Fridays special. Its no wonder you've got so many awards.

Ordered from this chippy, just this morning after so many recommendations. A lovely lad served me a pensioners cod and chips with a mushy peas and I have to say the batter was cooked to perfection and the chips were so moist and fluffy. Would definitely come back to try the other items on the menu. Well done to Ozzie and his staff.

Thought I'd give it a try as I've seen the shop while driving past a few times. I stopped by from work about 30min before closing time, 2 gentlemen had just been served before me. The lads at the till were friendly but the lady not so much, as I very quickly scanned the menu, i felt as though I was inconveniencing her so I just ordered the cod and large chips. I think it was around £11. Unfortunately, I didn't get to eat it hot until 40 min later after I got home, but can truly say, the chips were in my opinion not, 'a large portion) but still absolutely gorgeous. The cod was long but quite 'flat', though it was very tasty and I do hope to visit this chip chop again.
