Really enjoyed the meal. Great atmosphere. Dog friendly. Warm, cosy and service was fantastic. The chips were the best I have had in a while.
Lovely pub in a strangely pleasant location, the front garden between a forked road junction is a great place to meet, socialise or just watch the world go by. Let down by the prices, which are significantly higher than other venues in the town.

One of our favourite pubs. We love the cosy inside seating more, but the outside seating is also great. They have a nice backyard seating too. Friendly staff. We also love the food here. The fish platter and the loaded nachos our favourites. The Scotch eggs, though not with runny yolks, were decent.
Unfortunately our Christmas meal was very disappointing. One of our main meals had a dead wasp on it!! Not a great start. The plate was changed but no apology. Waitress hardly said a word and the rest of the food was well below average. …
