Jk's Deli

This Deli/ Coffee shop is a must visit . A huge deli on one side (I bought the homemade ginger Turkish Delight)& had Coffee & specially items from their adjoining Cafe. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff & best of all , sensational selection of food. I can definitely recommend this place as we visited them on the way north & also on our return trip

I drove to from Cairns to catch up with a friend who was working in Ingham for a few days. Bearing in mind my friend lives in Melbourne and loves good coffee and food, I followed his recommendation (he visited JK's the day before) to join him for breakfast here and was very happy with the good food (savoury mince on sourdough toast), lovely coffee and friendly, efficient service. Recommended!

We stumbled upon this place when we went to dine somewhere else in Ingham and sadly their kitchen had closed. Luckily JK’s still serve a lot later than other local places. We had a lovely lunch with handmade pies and a tasty side salad. The service is super friendly, and the internals are quirky and spacious. So glad we found it - locals always know where to go!

Really disappointed with JK's Deli. They close at 1 pm and we got there at 12.10 noon as roadworks delayed us. When we got there we were told the menu items were no longer available after 12 and could only order from the display cabinets. There were bog standard quiche, pies, etc plus a couple of bacon & egg sandwiches. Most of the food displayed was non veg & the veg options were limited & boring. So asked for an Italian style veg sandwich and was told they can only do a salad sandwich. I said I didn't come to an Italian cafe to eat a salad sandwich. Don't think they were too impressed with that. Am sure they could have quickly put together an Italian veg sandwich. Also, they never mentioned on their website or Facebook their militant adherence to removing their menu by 12 noon on the dot. My husband had the bacon and egg sandwich & coffee. He said the sandwich was good but coffee was awful. So I just sat with him while he ate. While waiting along with few other patrons a staff member started sweeping the floors. Most unhygienic. Will certainly not be coming here again. Awful customer service.
