Two Sisters

Two Sisters HAS always been my go to for Nawlins cuisine. This isn't my 1st time here, I've been here multiple times. The crawfish etouffee is my favorite. A generous amount of crawfish all throughout along with the big ole piece of fried catfish, you can't go wrong! If you haven't tried them, do so soon!.

So I have been wanting to try this place for a while and the Shrimp Etouffe Lagniappe in particular. Got it and it was delicious and not as salty as I anticipated given the reviews. Got the cornbread to cut the salt and it was awesome! So good. Others in my group got the fried shrimp, which they enjoyed and hamburgers which they did not. Both burgers were ordered without cheese but both had cheese on them. Overall I'd say if you want to eat a burger probably go elsewhere, but you were probably already planning to. Their onion rings are bomb though.

I had seen this place several times and wanted to try it but never went in. I decided when a work friend of mine said Let's go to lunch to try it. oh boy I am so happy that I did.! I got the Crawfish and crab balls and she got the boudin balls these are the best balls in town. I also got the pasta Mardi Gras and she got the etouffee. I will continue to go there until I have tried everything on the menu it was that wonderful. From the waiter with the raspy voice to the atmosphere to the food 18 stars!

I had such high hopes for this place! I ordered the daily special with the Cajun bites, fried fish and mac & cheese. The mac & cheese tasted like a lot of garlic! OMG I’ve never eaten mac & cheese with a garlic taste like this! It was so horrible after I bite I couldn’t eat it at all! The Cajun bites had a pretty good flavor, but after trying to eat 2 of those I couldn’t bare it bc they were very “tough” to chew. I was sooo disappointed so I finally tried the catfish and it was decent, but definitely not seasoned the way I thought it would be. I hate giving a bad review, but if you don’t express out concerns how can a company grow? That was a total waste of $18 for lunch. I really wanted this to be so good 🥲

If you are from NOLA area or South Louisiana and homesick, try this place out. It is just like places at home - friendly service, simple and the food is delish. I will def be back. Made my heart warm. It is no frills, not fancy at all and you won't get a fine dining experience. What you will get is great food made from the heart as evidenced by the taste. It is so much like so many places at home in S Louisiana. Kudos to them for staying true to their roots and not trying to be like everyone else. Love it!
