Suka Ramen

Good but expensive, a Beef Udon, Seafood Udon, Chicken Ramen with dumplings, crab rangoon and a California roll, 2 bottled waters and a bottled diet coke was $63. After buying $50 worth of gift certificates from V100 50/50 fridays that say on them no more than $50 can be used on one table I was told that I could only use one at a time. Kind of a bummer.

Update After 6 attempts at eating here, I've been successful exactly once: got everything I ordered 1st visit 3 weeks ago, then called to order a couple days later but no answer, 2nd visit was a text order 1/2 hour before closing they claimed "guy with phone not here" so no order, 3rd try "closed for remodeling" after just opening, 4th visit sign reading "sorry no sushi today", & 5th visit same sign reading "no sushi today". I. Am. Done. Should change restaurant sign from "Suka Ramën - Ramën, Hibachi, Sushi" to "Suka Ramën - Ramën & Hibachi only, no Sushi. I hate that their food was so good, because I refuse to go back again. Lost a customer over this & I'm sure there are more. Don't think I've ever given a one-star review, but I edited this place from 5 stars to one. Tried this place for the first time a couple weeks ago. The food was really good, the staff was extremely helpful & friendly, and they take orders by text! The atmosphere is very ethnic oriented, classy, and well-done for the limited space they have to work with. I ordered the All-Day Special, which is Two-Roll Sushi, choosing the California & Tekka Maki (tuna) rolls. Both were excellent, freshly made, and came with all the expected accompiments. My wife ordered the Steak & Shrimp Hibachi with a side of noodles. Her dish was missing the advertised sweet carrots, and the noodles were very bland, but she described her main dish as "very good". Prices seem fair and reasonable for the portions, excepting the noodles, which were $4 for nothing special, that tasted pasty and plain. We have tried dining there 3 times since, to no avail. Once was another text order (around 8:30 p.m.), near closing, and upon arrival to pick our order up, learned they didn't receive said order because "guy with cell phone not there". Tried ordering a couple days later, about 7 p.m., but no one ever answered the phone. Today, my wife stopped by on her way home from work, around 2:30 p.m., to see sign on door reading "closed for maintenance". Conclusion: food is delicious, IF you can get it. Very disappointed in customer service. What would easily have been a 4-star, possibly 5, was diminished to barely 3 because of business practices. Hope things change for the better, but I'm not holding my breath.

If you are going for sushi don’t. The crazy roll was deep fried in some thick consistency batter not raw sushi tuna like others with the same name. The crab Rangoon was disgusting I could not finish it. The only reason they get a 2 star is the chicken hibachi was able to be finished unlike the rest of the meal. Overly priced and long wait. I do not recommend and won’t be back.
