Country Pride

An older TA, then some I've stopped at, during my travels. Clean store and restrooms. Had dinner at Country Pride as well. I was a bit disappointed, with the all you can eat salad bar. It had plenty to choose from, but there were like 20 fruit flys, buzzing around the salad fixings! There was NO WAY, the attendant that fills the bar, could not have seen them! I felt safe, staying over night, even though they don't have parking, for people with trailers. Lights aren't so terribly bright, that they keep you awake. If the salad bar didn't have the fruit flies, I'd give this place 5 stars, but for now, it gets a 3 star rating from me.

Filthy seating area. Understaffed. No attention to refilling the soup. Didn't ask if it was alright to change an order. Didn't follow special instruction request for the sandwich that was ordered. Changing soup to something different but doesn't know to what yet. Very disappointed. Not what I expect from a t/a as I'm a professional driver.

Pretty good place. Have been here many times. Always friendly and most of the time fast. As me being a truck driver it hard getting into other places. So mostly stop at T.A truck stops. For fuel and food. This one is better then most. They seem to realy care about the customer here. Take in acount that its a truck stop. So i say im happy to come in for anything from breakfest to dinner. The menu is very good as the food.
