The Tea Leaf is a true little hidden gem. It has a lovely green yard in the back where you can soak up the sun away from busy Portland Road noise. There's always a vegan-friendly food option (food is home-made!) and the team is super nice. Oh, and they are very welcoming to doggy customers as well.

A friendly owner. With tasty homemade soups and lovely moist falafel’s. All cakes and savoury dishes are homemade.
Rhiannon, kindly used the hot chocolate brand. That is only frothy with the milk frother machine. That’s part of her coffee machine. We only had to pay £1.50 for the two mugs of milk.

It was amazing, the staff was very kind and the food was amazing, went there nearly every day of my stay in Hove & Brighton, it's super homely as well and the chai latte was definitely one of the best drinks I've ever drank in my life, would recommend to everyone

Don't miss out on this Portland Road gem! Delicious food, great coffee and all great value for money. The staff and service are equally lovely. The hidden garden is a huge bonus in the summer!

Absolutely loved this cafe. Really relaxed and homely. We had toasties, salad, cake and tea, all really tasty. We also went with a couple of two year olds who loved their cheese and ham toastie and playing with the Duplo!

Lovely garden to sit in on a nice afternoon. We had delicious Buddha bowls with fresh veg and dips. Everything, including the bowls and cutlery were good quality. Excellent coffee and boho ice cream to follow. Great value and quick service.

Love this place. Food is fresh and the service attentive and kind. The sun-trap garden is a calm place to spend some time too. Recomend the 'big boy' breakfast, soaks-up a hangover like a love sponge. Blankets provided if a bit chilly if you still want some winter sun.
