Let me first off state that my husband and I are have enjoyed The Stone Mill Bakery for many years. However, our experience today at the Voss location was horrific to say the list. The man at the register was the rudest and most hostile person I have ever encountered in the service industry. I was a waitress in the past and now work with very sick people in the medical industry and could never imagine treating anyone this poorly. He was not only being rude to me and my husband, but was a jerk to just about everyone else the he was taking orders and money from. I promptly called the other location and informed the owner. I truly hope she takes care of this issue, because as long as that guy is allowed to treat customers like that, they will quickly lose more business. My husband and I will not return to the Voss location, especially not while that guy is there! This is too bad, especially since we really have enjoyed their bake goods and deli over the years. Please beware!

I had a terrible experience at Stone Mill Bakers. The customer service was so unacceptable that I walked out. When I began to make my sandwich order I said I wanted a turkey sandwich. The man behind the counter proceeded to yell at me, saying that he wanted to know the type of bread first. I let it go and restated my order. However, when I was ordering another sandwich I stated the type of bread first (attempting to avoid being yelled at), yet the man screamed at me for not saying the meat first. After that, I couldn't take it anymore so I walked out. I will never go back again, because the way I, the customer, was treated was unacceptable.
