Luby's

Luby’s was very good. I had the red beans & rice w/sausage, and a side of zucchini & squash. My guest had the Luann cheesesteak, greens and sweet potatoes & jalapeño cornbread. It was good, fresh, hot and plenty of food. The employees are friendly and wait staff for drink refills etc is attentive and kind. I will be returning

Wow! It's been a long week. As always this Lubys has surpassed my expectations. They ran out of DP today it was a little disappointing. But like I said.... Constantly exceeding expectations! The manager was not about to let me leave disappointed. He made sure to personally hand deliver my ice cold drink ASAP. Wait staff is truly delightful! Thank you so very much!

Recently my visits at Luby's have been very disappointing. My visit at this Luby's on 288/McGregor was awesome!!! The staff were on point, friendly and courteous, wanting to make sure our needs were met. The food was hot, seasoned and good. I hope the other Luby's in Houston improve this much!! Wished I lived closer, so I could eat there more often!! Wish I could give 10 stars.

It's kinda expensive, when it says on the wall art that it's not, but I was hungry either way. I attempted to pay with my card, and I saw on the screen that she took cash instead of my card, and that I was getting like $40 back, and I asked what the issue was... and she got the manager over there... and he said that it didn't go through, and I wasn't charged anything on my card, so I paid cash instead, well, I get I text when my card is charged, and I showed him that it charged me anyways, so he gave me back the difference. The food was great as always. The waitress was nice, but she stayed on her phone alot. I DO RECOMMEND the carrot cake... it was to die for!!

I tell you what! My experience here was better than anyone I have ever visited before. Ms. Dee waited on us even taking my tray to the table. This lady is the bomb alongside the courteous servers that we encountered. Very patient counter help and willing to serve even when customers come in and are very condescending to them. I love that attitude that was displayed the day I visited. The food was excellent and well seasoned. Thank you Ladies for one of a kind Service ever. Very much appreciated. Eastex Freeway at East Mount Houston Rd.

This is a very nice Luby's Cafeteria. I like to dine here on the weekends. It's not as crowded. They have an all you can eat breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings for $7 99. I really like the daily Fan Favorite specials for $6.99. The chicken fried steak is very good. Its lighly breaded and not greasy. They offer quality meals at an affordable price.

Very fast and fresh food! Only was in Houston for a couple of days but this place was just down the street from our hotel. Decided to eat there with my grandparents and we were all pleased. Although, my grandpa claimed his dessert was not the greatest, we all enjoyed our entrees for sure! Staff was great as well!
