String Noodles

The beef soup was great. I love the fact they make the noodles right there, which you can see thru their big window into the kitchen. Super fun to watch! Now I'm not super into cilantro, in my case was just over powering for me. So I know to ask them, "no cilantro, please." NOW the big upsetting part. I wanted the skewered meat and mushrooms. Which the hosted said, " NO we don't have those." Why do you have it in your menu? 😑

Few selections of the noodles. I order the stewed Beef tenderloin with noodle. The vegetables are fresh and crispy, for my husband order is Sichuan DanDan noodle and beef tenderloin Chilli sauce. We are not waiting too long for our food. My portion is really huge. The noodle is really good. The flavors from Our noodles broth are very tasty and savory, although bit salty( for my opinion). The dining area is clean. And we could see the person whom made the noodle. Definitely we will coming back again.

Best noodle shop in Chinatown. Large portions, simple preparation, fresh noodles. I always order the dandan noodles accompanied by two side dishes: tofu and cucumbers. They also have a variety of traditional Chinese skewers to try out. It’s quite possible to have a full meal for under $10 Highly recommended for a good noodle shop.

Beef noodles are above average. Beef is especially flavorful and tender. Soup is rather salty. Pig ears are too salty. Mixed salad was good. Drank loads of water after the meal. Too much for me to consider to return. Service was considered prompt considering that there was only one server. Machine was down and they only accept cash. Not sure how often does this happen.

Hands down the best Lanzhou string noodle in Houston. Not much different from the really authentic one I had in China. Noodle is made from scratch and you can watch how they pull it! Very important for a good quality string noodle! Broth is pretty good too! Price is okay. Beef can be a little more... Limited choice of other food.
