Very disappointed . There wasn’t one aspect of the dining experience that was satisfactory. More specifically: Staff ignored us. We only got menus when we requested them after 10 minutes. Even then we were not asked if we would like drinks . - Orders were taken 10 minutes later. - Coffees came 20 minutes later So we had been sitting there for 30 minutes before we had even received a coffee. Food came 1 hour 10 after entering the cafe . There was an issue in the kitchen which was explained well after ordered. That’s ok, things happen . But no compensation or sincere apology was offered (“would you like a coffee on us while you wait” as an example). When the food arrived : Croissants was burnt ( it was black for god’s sake!) One order was wrong. The bacon was undercooked Baked beans were ordinary . Small things overall but collectively it was appalling and the mistakes just kept adding up ! Was really excited for this place but could have been more disappointed and will not be back ! Appreciate it’s new and their will be teething problems. However, that does not excuse the quality of the service and food we received. The place next door is awesome . Should have gone there!

On arrival the restruant presented as the Jewel in the crown for the recent facelift to the Lenah Valley dining strip. The restaurant looked to be in the thick of service on our arrival, 6:30 Sat night, parking was easy and convenient around the area. Upon entry the atmosphere is great and the shop Fitout and decor warm and inviting. We were up for a family night out so tried a variety of pizzas headed up by a large garlic pizza. Mmmm could not fault the pizzas, toppings great and the base exceptional, combined to make and exceptionally great pizza. Envy set in upon seeing the kids at the table next to us receiving their order of gelato ice creams. We had filled up on pizza, always next time! Staff were pleasant with some big personalities amongst them, they can make your night. Overall I give it full marks, a good night out. Job well done guys!! See you all again soon.
