Chickies Beef

Ordered beefs, fries, breaded mushrooms, fountain drinks, and a double cheeseburger. The fries were really good. The beefs, very flavourful and not too soggy. The burger, I'm afraid I won't reorder. It was too plain and the patty tasted old and frozen. Not fresh at all, just odd. This place is great, overall. Our cashier was very patient with our kids regardless of how busy they were and confirmed order twice before charging. I appreciate her service. Our total for 5 was about $80.

I remember going to the original location at 2800 S. Pulaski Rd. as a kid and it was delicious. So I had try this new location. They have a good selection of fast food, including pizza by the slice. I ordered an Italian beef sausage combination and 3 hot dogs to go. The Italian beef and sausage combination was good, but nothing special. The hot dogs were just ok, they put too much relish on the hot dogs. The fries were very good. I had my order to go and it was very cold outside. I'm sure that played a role in diminishing the quality of the food. I'll definitely give them another chance and try other items only if I'm in the area.

O M G!!! I totally forgot this place was here! The food is amazing! It takes me back to the little shack on 31st and Pulaski in Chicago! Food cooked fresh and it is so worth the wait. It's a shame that this place is hidden behind McDonald's and Wendy's. People.... drive past those 2 fast food joints and get into Chickies!!! You'll be glad you did. Can't wait to get back there again.

This was my first experience here and the drive-thru is a little confusing as I ended up waiting to place an order in the pick-up line instead of the order line. But Alyssa was so sweet to take my order anyways instead of having me go to the other line and wait all over again. This showed great flexibility and customer service. I haven't tried the food yet but I would still give this place my business because of how well I was treated. Small things like this make a big difference when someone is trying a new place for the first time.

Ordered a hamburger, a cheeseburger, and a slice of sausage pizza. This was my second visit here. Obviously, my first visit was good. ;-) The food was so good and portions were so filling. I really love the decor of this restaurant. It is so much fun just walking in here. And both times, the reception I received when walking in was not only hospitable but everyone was super friendly! I will definitely come back and try something different on their menu, which has a great variety. I am eyeing those chili cheese fries!! Come and check it out. I definitely recommend you stop by!

Very clean great fries a d salad and beef. In 1962 went to a new hot dog hamburger and beef stand on 28th and Pulaski went there many times. Moved to Cicero where they opened another. It did close but now I have found they opened on Roosevelt a block west of Manheim great food like 50 years earlier so now we have it all over again.
