Comet Pizza

Comet has re-opened with new owners. Pizza was very good very similar to how it used to be made. This is a classic style pizza that always hits the spot. They now also have garlic which they didnt have before and I look forward to trying them next time. Service was polite and friendly. I've attached a picture of their current menu as of June 2022... Not sure if that will be changing.

Got off the plane at Newark hungry as heck - Comet pizza HIT THE SPOT! I learned this business has been closed for the last two years and recently reopened and The only thing I can say is support this business!! I got the first cheese pizza out of the oven of the day - it was about 11:30am when I walked in. The woman behind the counter was so friendly! Pizza was immaculate (I didn’t get photos because I was so hungry, but take my word for it) Fly to Newark frequently and I will be back!

This place was so much better before Covid...loved the old owners... The new people are rude...they will mess up your order and do nothing about it and I placed a big order thinking it was the same like before and what I received valued at half the order...went back to tell them and they didn't care. Pizza taste like chicken shack pizza... It's not the same..don't waste your time... You will be very upset. Try before you actually buy...it is NOT the same.

I moved to north of New Jersey & I’ve been looking for some GOOD pizza and nothing beats COMET. It’s my brothers and my favorite pizza spot in New Jersey. Not a fancy place but EVERYTHING you get from here it’s delicious. I love their cheesesteak sandwich, mozzarella sticks (they’re huge) and the pizza. They use the most amazing sauce & cheese in their pizza. The owners are the most friendly people ever. Only bad thing is they don’t deliver & CASH ONLY, but I promise you after you try the pizza it is all going to be worth it 😋
