Pho Gabo

Best pho in town! Every time I come to the Portland area I try to eat here. This time it was for mother's day! Beautifully flavorful broth, tender meat, all the fixings. My sister had the vegetarian pho and she loved it too. My mother had the mixed plate, it had a little bit of everything on it. Can't wait to come back!

The price at Pho Gabo is ridiculous. I understand the price has increased in everything, but for a bowl of meatballs only (with 6 meatballs and nothing else) pho is $14.95 + $1 to go box fees, totalling for $15.95. Sorry, I will no longer order food from this place anymore. Other places has more reasonably priced pho even after the inflation. Also, one of the meatball has blue color thingy in it. My daughter was so disgusted with it. 😔

Is it tasty? Yes ... Is it worth it for the price? NO! It sure won't look like the picture at all ... that's the beef tenderloin sandwich... where is the beef? And that's the short ribs in the container ... no, I did not eat any ... it came with three bones and almost no meat at all. I also got pho ... two different ones and a chicken dish ... I didn't bother taking pics ... same thing! The taste is there but the value is NOT!

Food was excellent I ordered pho with strip and flank the wife ordered chicken noodle soup, the only issues I asked for additional extra vegetables and was only brought extra sprouts and jalapeno but I repeat the depth of flavor in the broth was amazing. We ordered "desert" and asked that the dinner and dessert checks be split that did not happen. I ordered a Avocado smoothie with rainbow jelly (AMAZING!) , my wife ordered a mango smoothie plain hers some how had an "essence" of fish had to throw it out. We haven't decided yet whether we are going to give this restaurant a second chance.

Went here a few months ago and it was really good food and service was great. Went back today and the service was horrible and prices had increased significantly. I did not get any bean sprouts or herbs with my soup and when I asked for a to-go container, they gave a used one. It had obviously been used because of the paper tape that said 3/26 on it. Food was okay. There are better Vietnamese restaurants in the area. I won’t be going back to this one.
