Tom's Place

This is one of my favorite breakfast places. Their service is top notch and the ambiance is cool. You feel like you are in a diner. Their food is great, I had Tom's breakfast (biscuits and sausage gravy, pancake, bacon, sausage, and a choice of one side), and my wife had a strawberry crepe with a parfait.

Walking in to super friendly staff, great decor in the restaurant made me feel at home. The coffee cups and salt/pepper shakers were to die for adorable. The food was oh my aaaamazing. Biscuits so big and fluffy you should get your picture taken just for finishing one. The gravy was good and thick like granny makes it. The omelets were not whipped half way to cream so they weren't fluffy like eating air (which I hate). I highly suggest this place to anyone wanting good breakfast at a good price.

We moved to the area about a year ago, and my husband being from this area originally, had talked about this restaurant consistently. We always seemed to just miss them before they closed for the day. We finally made it around to getting in, and oh my goodness. I’ll never ever miss a chance to go again. He talked the French toast up, and Man, he didn’t do it justice. It’s heavenly. The portions are fulfilling. We’ve tried a couple different things from menu, and they’re all delicious. They’ve never disappointed us. Highly recommend.

Had the hamburger steak with grilled onions (and they made it as rare as they could! Yay!!!), with roasted potatoes and pickled beets. All of the food was great. There was no bread option. My friend had a breakfast plate- breakfast is served all day long - and says it is one of her staples when eating there. Service was outstanding--- server was definitely on point!!! Refills, extra ice, to-go cups, to-go box -- she was great!!! 👍 The restaurant was very clean, but just know there is only one ladies restroom for the entire restaurant.
