Rubio's

My family comes to Rubio’s at least 3 times a week as we are vegetarian and love bean burritos as well as the easy to go ordering option making it an easy stop as I take kids to their after school activities getting separate orders makes it simple to hand each off with their own bag. I recently started going to the greenvalley location as the eastern one started giving me trouble and I am so grateful that when I request the maximum salsa which is 6 they actually follow through rams read the order and fill it perfectly this really is essential on the entire experience for me as I really only want the burrito as a shovel to eat salsa.

Rubio's a like, a step above junk food. It's like the fish taco's I used to eat iat the restaurants near the condo I rented on the beach in Tijuana. Okay it's a bit more standardized and franchised but that's what Americans find most comfortable. We want to have a good idea of what a fish taco will taste like, before we order one. The food is good, it's consistent and it's just what the doctor ordered when you're in the mood for Mexican Baja!

Had lunch there with my wife today and ordered the salmon tacos. I anticipated some good Mexican food and sorry to say I was disappointed. The tortillas were stale and hard and hard to digest. I ended up scraping the contents out and ate it separately. Everything was a bit bland with the exception of the small side order of beans. Wasn't a total loss as my wife liked what she ordered or she may have just been really hungry.
