Sonic Drive In

Tried there dill burger and fried pickles. I was disappointed to say the least. I don't think it was from this location particular I think the whole idea just wasn't executed well. They're fried pickles are soft Spears so it doesn't work quite as well at least not for me. And the burger just kind of liked flavor in general. Service was friendly and quick and a very interesting location.

I ordered large everything. Large popcorn chicken, large onion rings, and large drink. Large number 10 with large tots and large drink. The only thing that we received was large drinks. The chicken for the sandwich was 2 inches smaller in diameter than the bread. And ice cream machine wasn't turned on. Last week we tried ordering there we waited 20 min and no one would take our order from the inside, so we went to Waffle House next door. Our first experiences here were awful. Probably won't return to a sonic.

Literally the most absurd drive through experience ever. Got to the window and asked to waite. Full 10 minutes later I give up and drive to the window, one car there already. 10-15 more minutes go by, finally try to place my order, but told no can do, I have to go back through the drive through, or come in. They can't take my order because there were cars behind me. I go in, place my order, place is filthy, understaffed. Better to close than stay open like that.

this was my first Sonic. i love footlong coneys. as a kid in the early 60s in knoxville, tennessee the Smokey Mt. Market was the only place to get one so we would load up friday from Gatlinburg and drive up to ktown and dad would get us a footlong and a bottle of pop. i haven't had a footlong in over 30 years. i had one today. it took me back to my boyhood. great employees. helpful, polite, quick and even though the system for the dining room was down they still got my order for me. the little things mean the most. i work near this location in Hebron and have found my new lunch spot. 5 stars.
