This pub has an excellent selection of ales, lagers and ciders with 4 interior rooms, bar, pool room which doubles as live music or party room and two quieter snugs. outside boasts two fabulous beer gardens and the staff ensure that a great time is had by all. Would absolutely recommend to everybody.

Absolutely cracking old pub whether it’s inside or out, beer gardens are top quality with plenty of room and character.
Range of drinks it’s class and the staff are top quality, hats off to Sean the landlord.

Been here several times always a warm welcome and good standard of beers lagers etc. Not sure if they serve food hence no rating left but for atmosphere and service it's excellent

First class place,1st class people...clean and tidy friendly atmosphere offering top quality products at reasonable prices. The staff and management are warm and pleasant as well as very knowledgeable. The Causeway offers 4 separate rooms, a pool table, jukebox which has speakers in all areas and two brilliant outside areas. An all round first class experience. The pub also has something on most of the time to include everybody. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

Something for everybody here. Pool table, jukebox speakers everywhere including the outside beer garden areas, (recently renovated by non stop landlord Sean. The staff and management always have time for a quick chat and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Large selection of reasonably prices ales, lagers, spirits and ciders. Visit here!!! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED :)

The Causeway is an absolutely brilliant old world boozer with up to date jukebox which plays in all areas including the fantastic beer gardens. They are reasonabky priced eirh a great selection of real ales, lagers, spirits and bottled products. There is also a pool table and various rooms to accomodate different tastes. The management and staff always ensure you have a great time. Would totally recommend.

I no longer live in the town. (No longer live in the country!) But whenever I come back to visit, I always enjoy the Causeway. I’m always amused by the ‘banker’ pints with the distinctive ice-cream head. Great beer too! The two rooms are really nice places to spend a couple of hours. I’ll be back again next time I’m in town.

Cask ale lovers _ 50% reduction Tuesday on lovely pint of strongarm and all cask ales each Tuesday.
Jukebox great choice of tunes to pick from.
Bar staff all very lovely including the landlord !
Difficult to find a reason to complain, especially with the hidden but delightful beer garden out the back.
For pool lovers there is a table here too!

Great time yesterday for the Billy west gig, fab atmosphere cheap drinks lovely staff. They reserved us a table for someone with mobility issues even opened the back gate to avoid the steps. Gig was fab, took my Nan for a good time and she loved it.
