We were pleasantly surprised with the good quality of authentic Halal Chinese dining at Red Lantern, complimented with professional and efficient service provided by Lin and June.
We ordered Prawn toast, salt/pepper chilli wings and Crispy Aromatic Duck for starters. All was fresh and nice, preparing our taste buds for the feast to come.
Mains comprised of a very tender beef in black bean sauce, sweet crispy chilli infused chicken, fluffy and succulent sweet and sour prawns and house 'very special' crispy noodles. All the portions were a decent size and beautifully prepared.
Will definitely be back for more, especially since it is very rare to find Good Quality Halal Chinese dining where they don't serve alcohol.

Food was good. Not a very large selection but enough for a nice lunch or casual dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Their website stated that there was no MSG used in the food. I asked when I arrived as I have a reaction to MSG. Was told by waiter that some foods do and information on site was outdated.
He quickly checked with the chef and informed me. I was then asked which of the dishes I would like and the prepared me 2 dishes without any MSG. Great service.

Best Chinese food in England, for me. We moved here 7 months ago and today we've found what we were looking for. The price is low, the portions are very good and the food is delicious.
It may seem a bit rough around the edges as in no fancy table cloths etc, but the service is really good. We wanted something not quite on the menu and it was no trouble.
We had peking duck, salt and chilli chicken, fried noodles with beansprouts, chips, and satay sauce. It was all cooked perfectly and didn't take long come either!

Very nice food, went here on a sunday. Good choices on the buffet and welcoming staffs. Food was delicious and not too oily. It can sit about 40 people at a time I think.

Always fresh food and clean place. Friendly staff and not too expensive. Choice of food ok I will give five stars if more food options. Ask for free ice cream with buffet. The only thing I can see wrong sometimes, the rice is too long in food warmer and it's getting dry.

I booked it for a business dinner. We were three people and everything was excellent. Friendly staff who were expecting us and provided a great service, for example they explained a bit about dishes, we asked the best way to eat the Crispy Aromatic Duck and they were happy teaching us. One of my guests has a mobility disability so they helped us to get a taxi right at the restaurant doorstep. Food was good, varied and good portion sizes. The atmosphere was great to have a business dinner with a nice touch of soft Chinese music.

They have variety of Pan Asian dishes, which includes Schezwan food ( hot & spicy, try at your own risk), Thai food. In addition to this they have set meals and buffet also. It has nice interiors and decor with beautiful watercolour paintings. They have good and efficient service who will make you comfortable.

The best Chinese takeaway in central Harrow right now. Great food and delivery for takeaway. At the time of writing, it's shut for a brief period - I'm hoping the restaurant is going through a refit because it was looking a little dated.

Lovely staff with an amazing atmosphere. Soft music, quiet ambiance and peace. Also great food, especially when its freshly cooked ! Would recommend any harrow resident to eat here and experience
