Anna Seafood

First & last time at this place. I am a traveler & noticed there was a lot of foot traffic (usually a good sign). First of all, the smell of urine distracts from the smell of food inside the restaurant. This food is not only overpriced (for the portions) but the wait is excessive for STALE, overcooked food. There is nowhere to sit & dine although advertised. You have to wait in you car until it's ready. I would not recommend this establishment to anybody who wants an enjoyable meal. Captain Ds is not far away... you can have 2 sides, a drink with HOT food and sit comfortably at a booth/table to enjoy your meal without the smell of a soiled diaper.

Overall review: decent. I ordered a seafood combo that came with a piece of fish scallops, shrimp, a crabcake and fries. Location: easily accessible Interior: No real seating, sort of junky with all of the random boxes on the tables Cleanliness: 7/10 Pricing: 7/10, decent cost Food: taste pretty good. Problem: I ordered a crabcake and I am from Baltimore, I KNOW what crabcakes taste like. What they gave me was a SALMON CAKE. It was all fish. Very misleading, not what I paid for. I already made it home and when I opened the box the crabcake looked EXACTLY like a salmon PATTIE and tasted like one too! It was a good tasting Salmon cake tho lol. I'm just mad I PAID for a CRABCAKE and received a SALMON cake!

For a dinner special out plates were extra light . Like somebody had already ate out the plate . Flounder was baby flounder. Fries were cold . Lady was rude when we told her it wasn’t a lot of food. And they went up on the price . Could have kept the food quality up . They used to be good . Not sure what happened . Won’t be coming back .

I ordered two dinners. The fries and hush puppies were old and hard and I found hair sticking out of my food. When I showed the staff they laughed in my face and insisted that it wasn’t from them (even though the female had her hair down). They stated “oh, that’s a good one” as if I planted the hair in the food myself. They became irate and gave me an attitude as if I was looking for a free meal (I even gave them the food back) The cook argued with me in front of other customers and said “that’s not Asian hair, we have straight hair.” I will never patronize this place again. They’re rude and the food was gross.

Came to Hampton VA for a pop up shop. I figured I’m in seafood heaven because we’re right off the water so why not get seafood. They hyped Anna up to me. It makes me think of a Chinese Carryout that everyone goes to after drinking and hanging out all day. The crab cake was even a crab cake, it was a mix of fish. I couldn’t even taste the crab. Only go there if you’re looking for carryout to help you get over a hangover.
