My Quate

We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavor of the food we ordered. I worry that with the rising food rates - the +$1 per listed item, topped off by a 3.5% up charge for anything other than cash- they will price themselves out of the market. I won’t lie- we had major sticker shock when we got our order. We ordered the appetizer sampler, a burrito supreme, chips and guacamole and two desserts. This was almost $60. Again great food- but it was pricey

What a beautiful place they have! The decorations and food is authentic. Everything is seasoned so well. We got the chicken fajitas, super tender and fresh and the carne asada was tender served with a large portion of rice and refried beans or black beans. We also got tortilla soup which was flavorful. You have to get the lime-aid drink! You will not be disappointed. I tell you everything there is made with love! The owners greeted us right away and couldn't wait to serve us. can't wait to try what else they have there!

Here is a worthwhile, authentic Mexican restaurant, independently owned and operated. One thing Hamilton can use more of are independent restaurants with tasty food, and My Quate is worth the trip. I was pleased to find they had their own, made in-store Hibiscus drink but when I saw they also made their own Guanabana shake I had to try that as well. Neither disappointed and we're exactly as I've tasted outside the US. Those were just the drinks. From the complimentary nacho chips and salsa dip, to the burrito and quesadilla plates we ordered, and even the side compliment of sauced, the focus was really on fresh ingredients made to order. This didn't arrive bulk frozen on a Semi. The interior is bright and cheerfully decorated without being campy or cartoonish. It's a fast food vibe but comfortable and the staff are equally friendly and inviting. This is not a franchise factory, so they seemed happy to be working there and had the personal touch when folks are vested in your satisfaction. The food tasted great and it was a very encouraging experience in an America that has fallen mostly to the desert that is the chain food wasteland. Do treat yourself and go. We'll be going back soon.

First time visiting the town and randomly picked this restaurant based off the reviews. Thankful we did! Had a traditional chicken burrito with rice and beans. The entire meal was beyond my expectation, full of a lot flavor! Great service! And freshly made! Definitely do yourself a favor and eat here!!
