Hamden Town House

They let you seat yourself, thought that was fine. The cornbeef hash was not very good. My wife had a turkey burger she said it was very good. I liked our waitress she was nice. I'll probably give them another chance ordering something different. It appears they cater to a more mature crowd and they are regulars. I feel like it is kind of charming in that way. The coffee was good and the wife liked their dessert options.

This is my favorite diner in Hamden. The staff there is always great. There is never really a wait for a table. The drink of your choice will shortly follow you being seated. Ordered food shortly thereafter, and cooked to perfection. Waitresses are super cool and have great personalities. You can sit back and watch them interact with customers on a personal level. Located off Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) off exit 61. Go check them out and share the experience that so many enjoy. You won't be disappointed.

This was recommended by my daughter-in-law and she was not wrong. We had Saturday morning breakfast. It was busy but no wait for a table. Service was excellent and the food was good too. The big plus for me coming from the UK is that I love to breakfast in a traditional American diner and this is a great one.

This is the 1st time I visited this restaurant. It was not busy at all .I feel the service could of been better. The server took a long time to take our order.. she never came back to see how we were doing.,or ask for refills, and I had to find her to pay...I am very experienced in the food business and to me customer service is so important. The food was fair., Something's a little overpriced.

We did not have to wait for a table which was wonderful because we had a time crunch. This was my first time here. The people that we with me have been here many times and recommended it. We we were seated I notice how nice and clean the dining area was. Oh and the wonderful display of desserts. YUM!!! The menu is extensive and they serve breakfast all day. We placed our order and our food came out hot and quick. It was awesome. The food was very good. The soup was a bit more salty than I usually like but it was good. I will come again. 😃

A classic New England diner inhabiting what once was a Howard Johnson's restaurant. High quality diner food served by pleasant and efficient staff. The chicken salad sandwich and chicken alphabet soup or delicious. The special handling need was great. And the deserts looked wonderful! Great hours if you need to eat after 9 pm.

Classic dinner feel. Generic dinner menu but some daily specials that added something fun to choose from. Wasn't that crowed at lunch which was nice. Staff was attentive however they sometimes had loud conversations with each other very close to us that would disrupt our own conversation. Would come back again if craving diner foods
