Truly Tasty

I’ve been coming to this awesome restaurant for years and it’s one of my favourites in Halifax. I’ve always ordered the Crispy Chicken Ramen (which I Love), but recently I started getting the Spicy Pork Chasu Abura Soba. It’s amazing. The pickle plate goes great with it and I usually get a marble pop too! Love the atmosphere they have now versus their old location with their custom made tables and chairs and a much bigger dining room. I look forward to my next Truly Tasty meal. ❤️

Wanted to try this Ramen place for a while now.. and trust me its worth it. Tried the crispy fried chicken ramen and and the Spicy pork miso ramen both were delicious. The portions are hearty and the broth with both were delicious. The places was moderately filled for lunch time and the service was quick and on point. Definitely worth a try.

Truly tasty is by far the highlight of my visit to Halifax. I tried the spicy pork chashu abura soba plate and it was heaven. the meal is huge, fresh and really delicious. service is unreal good and the team is really nice as well: Please add this restaurant to your list and try it, you won't regret it.

Finally found the time to stop and try a bowl of Ramen at one of Halifax’s famous stops. Difficult decision on the menu but went with thee servers recommendation. The broth was SO GOOD. Rich and thick, packed with flavour. Noodles were firm with great texture. The fried chicken was plentiful and very crispy. I removed it to the side and just dipped as I went to ensure it kept its crunch. Excellent spot. Went again this week Aug 23/23. Had the Tantanmen. It was excellent. Not as spicy as I was expecting. Lots of delicious flavour, great textured noodles and a rich broth.

First time dining in at Truly Tasty and it was amazing. If we could rare it more than 5 stars, we would. We got the gnocchi appetizer, a soba, a ramen and a rice bowl and every single dish was generous, flavourful, and beautiful. Will be back to try the other items on the menu. Best ramen restaurant in Halifax by far.

My husband and I just ate there for the first time. We ordered spicy tan tan Ramen, spicy kimchi Ramen, and the fried chicken to start. Everything was delicious, portions were huge. I couldn't finish my Ramen and have enough left over for an entire other meal. This was the best Ramen we've ever had, fresh, flavorful, ready quick, excellent broth, and the service was perfection. 10/10 would recommend!
