Black Sheep

The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, we brought our little one on a date night with us the space was and atmosphere was cozy and speak easy-ish, the dim lighting made the dining experience intimate but still upheld a night life feel. The portion and food quality was certainly worth its price-point with the steak and fries, lots of flavour. We were also given free fudge at the end of the evening. My only after thought was that the fries could use a little less salt. Overall a great dish and experience. (The squid ink aioli was quite cool)

Tourist review: This was a great experience, we thoroughly enjoyed the environment and the food. The best dish by far was the lobster ravioli, perhaps the best I've had. I highly recommend this plate to anyone. I also enjoyed my latte which was so surprising considering this isn't a coffee forward establishment. Altogether the ambiance was relaxing and felt so serene, the delicious meal was the cherry on top.

Only had breakfast option which was the Diner Breakfast and it’s a little hard not to enjoy breakfast. The bread was great and the lavender wild blueberry jam was nice although not sure if that was in house. Salad was good and fresh and had a little spicy kick to it that was nice contrast. Latte was okay. Brisket Eggs Benny was also ordered but not photographed. They have a really interesting option for breakfast such as Korean and Indian options so if you are with a group with varied interests this place would work.

Okay - this place has the best fries I've ever had. My partner and I stopped in for just a drink and snack, I got the caeser which was so good. They put steak seasoning on the rim which I thought was genius. Also the pickled veg that comes with the drink is so delicious, I wish I had a whole bowl of them. The fries with the black aioli were SO GOOD. I wish we had more time to go back here and get more food, the vibe and decor we're super cool.

Beef tartare is always my go to! We had dine around menu this time, tried something different than usual. Fries are crispy and very flavourful. Won’t mind more salt and some pepper for cod but still very tasty. My bf got oatmeal cake and he said it’s the best dessert he got from a restaurant. Pumpkin ice cream on it is also super delicious! 10/10! —————— Not gonna lie, black sheep is my favourite restaurant now. We were here for my friends Jack and Jill party. I love the summer menu. We got tuna tartare and pakora burger and they were delicious. Not a huge fan of bibimbap because I don’t like sticky rice but the flavour is great.
